Top Priorities

  • As a mother and a grandmother, Gloristine understands the need for strong public education in our state. From early childhood to adulthood, every student should feel supported and empowered.

    In the State House, Gloristine support legislation to fully fund our public schools. She believes that in order for our state to thrive, we must start with education.

  • Medicaid Expansion finally went into effect December 1, 2023, but that doesn't mean the fight is over. Gloristine is committed to ensuring affordable health care access for all North Carolinians, including mental health care, substance abuse programs and a women's right to choose.

  • In the State House, Gloristine has supported legislation to restore protections to our wetlands and other sensitive ecosystems.

    Gloristine knows that the state of our environment is the legacy we will pass on to our children and grandchildren. Our actions today must emphasize the responsibility to protect and care for our planet for the benefit of future generations.

  • In Gloristine's first term in the State House, she worked with Governor Cooper to bring thousands of good-paying jobs to Eastern North Carolina.

    Gloristine remains committed to bringing these opportunities to Pitt County, a beacon for many in the East.
